What is Muse for small business?

Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. On 29 September 2026, Meta announced small-business skills for it: owners give Muse a goal, such as running the business or finding new customers, and Muse works to get it done.

Meta says nothing publishes, sends, or spends without your approval, so the owner signs off before Muse posts, emails or spends money.

Which apps does Muse connect to?

Meta lists 15 apps: Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe and Zoom. Muse also connects to a business's Facebook and Instagram business accounts.

What does Muse look like in practice?

In one of Meta's demo videos, an owner tells Muse they are underwater and asks what needs attention across their email, calendar and news. Muse replies with a summary of open issues and suggested actions, such as a supplier call that clashes with a client appointment and a street closure that affects pickups.

The owner then writes “Move the supplier call. Draft the pickup update.” and Muse confirms that the call has moved to 2 PM and the update is drafted.

What do business owners say?

Meta's announcement quotes Tom Mulholland, who owns Mulholland Grocery, on why help matters for a small team.

Canva co-founder and Chief Product Officer Cameron Adams, whose app is one of the connections, calls Muse “an exciting leap towards agents that genuinely help us work, create and make our lives easier.”

I work about 65 hours a week, and there are so many things where I'm the only one who can do them.

Why does it matter?

Meta is offering a free AI agent to the small businesses already on its apps, and the approval step means the owner stays in control of anything public or paid.

What's next for Muse?

Meta says that “in the months ahead,” owners can expect more connectors, more skills and more of the business handled for them. For now, Muse is available in the US and Canada.

Questions people ask

Is Meta Muse free for small businesses?

In the US and Canada, according to Meta.

Can Muse spend money or post without asking?

No. Meta says nothing publishes, sends or spends without your approval.

Which apps work with Muse?

Asana, Box, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, Granola, HighLevel, Intuit QuickBooks, Klaviyo, Lovable, Notion, Shopify, Slack, Stripe and Zoom, plus Facebook and Instagram business accounts.
